3D Animation vs. Motion Design - Conflict in my mind

Through my journey so far in Vancouver Film School..I've managed to confuse myself completely over which stream i later want to go into. I came to this school thinking of 3D Animation..and now i'm thinking of Digital Design as an alternative option. Both of them involve making some really cool stuff and both of them are heavy on software..and the more i research them the more i want to do both! I just hope i'll be able to make up my mind about it soon.. DD or 3D .. Let's see which one wins!!
